Can RAM and Hard Disk be upgraded?
Yes! You can even upgrade the hard drive capacity for the latest Mac models like MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac Mini with M1 processor. Our expertise of sixteen years enables us to perform upgrades previously deemed impossible by others. We offer three upgrades: hard drive, RAM and macOS (operating system) version.
Hard Drive Upgrade
Currently, we can upgrade MacBook Air hard drive capacity from 2012 to M1 models until 2020. Similarly, for MacBook Pro, we upgrade hard drives from 2009 to M1 models until 2020. Lastly, for iMac, upgrades are available from 2009 to M1 processor 24-inch iMac. Upgrades for M2 and M3 Macs’ hard drives are coming soon; we’re sourcing parts.
RAM Upgrade
RAM upgrades for MacBook Air are available from 2013 to 2017, offering options of 8GB or 16GB. Note: all MacBook Air RAM upgrades require soldering work.
MacBook Pro RAM upgrades are possible from 2009 to early 2020 models running on Intel processors. For models from 2009 to 2012, simply open the back casing and change the RAM. Models from 2013 to 2020 require soldering work to change the chipset.

All RAM replacements come with a warranty, minimum one year. During the service, we perform general maintenance and dust cleaning for your Mac.
macOS (Operating System)
Each Mac has a limit to its macOS upgrades, typically allowing four to five versions. Over time, inability to upgrade may render it obsolete for running latest applications like Adobe, Chrome, Safari and Microsoft Word.
